Team Balance is an international fight team founded by Phil and Ricardo Migliarese — brothers and first-generation Gracie black belts — and headquartered in Philadelphia. Drawing on decades of experience and years spent training with the Gracie family, they built Team Balance into a respected, multi-faceted school of body and mind.
When Ryan Deichert opened Tampa Jiu-Jitsu in 2007, part of his mission was to extend the Team Balance banner into Florida — connecting Tampa students to that lineage and community. It still shows in how the academy feels today: family-like, hands-on, and invested in each student’s own goals.
